Education Interactive is an Australian-owned company based in Sydney. Their forensic science workshop was in Portlaoise College on Thursday 17th September and brought classroom science to life.
This interactive workshop enhanced the learning experience by allowing students to become Forensic Scientists and solve real life crimes.
During the interactive Forensic Science workshop students examined evidence recovered from the crime scene, suspects and victims. Theories were developed, tested and accepted or rejected as they interpreted the evidence. To solve the crime students examined the evidence and used deductive reasoning to build a case to prove who did it, what happened, how and why.
